Online Reviews

Do online reviews really matter?

It seems like you can find anything online these days. Phone numbers and addresses can be found with a few clicks, outfits can be shipped right to your door, even grocery shopping has become easier with online ordering and free delivery. With so much information being found online one can assume reviews posted on the world-wide-web are going to be read by potential employees and clients. Whether good or bad, online reviews help people navigate the world and see what companies are worth their time and what ones should be avoided.

The Importance of Online Reviews:

90% of people read online reviews before visiting a business.

Reviews can often be the “first impression” someone may have of a business and we all know how important first impressions can be.

88% of people said they trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

The internet has become a place where strangers’ opinions may be just as important as a friend’s recommendation. Even though some reviews can be anonymous or people may not know the reviewer they still take what the review says seriously.

86% of people will hesitate to work with a business that has negative online reviews.

Negative reviews can be just as harmful as good ones can be helpful. Although each person will have a different, unique experience with a certain company it is important to remember the type of impact negative reviews can have.

Next time a company asks you to please leave a review about your experience with them, why not do it!

It not only helps other customers like you decide on whether or not to work with or visit that establishment but also and maybe even more importantly, it gives the company itself feedback on what they need to work or focus on.

In conclusion, if we haven’t tried to persuade you enough already…..
